A 5-day weekend

I've been sick since Sunday and got a 3 day MC. Which made up a 5 day weekend. Lol.

Let's start with Sunday. Went to thr St. John headquarters for AFA (Adult First Aid) test and BNCO (Basic NCO) test. Met Rachel and spoke for a while :). Glad that she is still the same.

After that, there is the Annual General Inspection Guard-of-Honour selection. The whole of the Sec 3 Marist squad was selected after going through some drills for 3 minutes. That should tell you how great we were. As the GOH lack of 17 people, the secondary 2s were also selected. Among the 17, 13 were Marist. :)

After that, I left for Sandra's birthday party which I didn't attend because I felt sick and went straight home. The moment I got home, I lie on my bed, without bathing.

I woke up feeling cold. Took my temperature and it read 38.1. I popped in 2 panadol pills and went back to sleep again.

Monday.
Fever brought my temperature up to 38.5! Went to the doctor and prescribed paracetamol and vitamin C. Something is not right. And also, he gave me a 2 day MC.

Tuesday.
True enough. Fever didn't subside and my throat hurts like some mother fucker. I looked into the mirror and found 2 ulcers around the size of a 5c coin mear my molar teeth. At night, I went back to the doctor again. He prescribed 3 more medicines but this time he charged much lesser than the first visit for consultation fees. :)

Today.
Got better, much better. Fever subsided, don't feel cold anymore. God bless!

But one thing fucks me up is the school's National Day Parade. Initially, I was in and the first rehearsal was set to be today, and coincidentally, I'm sick. WTF. Subsequently, I was substituted (my friend SMS me). Nabeh. I wasn't even informed when I was subbed. What kind of squadmates. I smsed him back and told him I am going to ask the fucking teacher in charge tomorrow. Guess what, he told me not to mess things up. What the fuck? You messed my parade and you warn me not to mess it up. May Satan be with you asshole.

I'm so going to find that fat teacher to get back what I should.

Let's see..... It's more than 2 weeks after my last post. Many stuf took place.

I watched Knight and Day with Vinson and Bryan. And it is my first time meetin Bryan. Guess what, he is 14 years old and got his first Monty trial bike at 12 for $1350++. Geez. More like 24 years old to me. And he is riding the 2nd blue Inspired. The first one was stolen by some lor mua from Vinson. Sigh. Totally suckass to lose a bike. Maybe I should change my front wheel skewers? And make it undetachable. How does riding wheelie all the way home sounds?

Knight amd Day.
As the main protagonist, Tom Cruise (Opps, I forgot the role's name) struggles to save his partner Simon, who made the Zephyr, and he met June, who at first proved to be a hindrance of his plan. The fighting scences are quote entertaining.

I guess why Knight and Day didn't have a good reception is because of the plot. As the main problem faced all started with the zephyr, it wasn't really introduced and explained clearly unlike the movie Ironman where they started the arc reactor. :0

Oh well, really hoping to watch Eclipse soon. :)

Orphan

In back from camp! 4D3N. But I shall post more about it later.

I'm in platoon 2. I have a platoonmate who was adopted, which made me respect her alot. We've been through shot together in camp, along with other people and I found out that I like her, really.

She's a jovial and opstimistic girl, who never fails to make people feel worthy of having such a friend. She don't flare up when people makes fun of her.

There was one time that she got disturbed by an asshole in my squad. He scolded her for being slow and I told him off, maybe she didn't know that.

She fell I'll on the 2nd day. Which got me worried, abit. I sort of did things for her and 'took care' care of her as in inning errands for her. But the last day was viceversa. She did for me instead.

I did made fun of her on several ocassions, saying she looked silly. Of course I didn't tell her,'hey, you're silly'. Never mind.

She's adopted. I respect her too, same goes to my platoon commander. I find her a mentally strong girl who doesn't give up easily.

She is Rachel.

My sister came back from China on the 3rd of June, 0545. When we came home, I plugged in the iPhone to my Mac, and iTunes cannot detect the phone. Without thinking, I restored it.

Guess what, I RESTORED IT WITHOUT REMEMBERING TO FIND WAYS TO BACKUP THE PHOTOS WHICH WERE TAKEN BY MY SIS IN CHINA. FML

I couldn't care much. I went on to many sites, finally, I found a ModMyi thread which explains how lost photos are retrieved via DD, using MobileTerminal. It couldn't work. I told my sis and in turn told my mom. I told them the ikee worm caused it. What a lie. Ikee worm cannot possibly delete your stuff. Feeling quite guilty too...

I've got ikee worm while SSHing my iPhone. Cutting long story short, I SSHed the .img file into the phone but there wasn't any photos which I was looking for. TOTAL FAIL. I sought for help to remove the ikee worm. Damn Rick Astley and the fuckin' Aussie. Btw, how can that iPhone hacker work in an Apple company? He is a hacker! Oh well, maybe the people from Apple loves the way he punish jailbreakers with the ikee worm, so they need people like him to fight jailbreakers.

Anyway, my friend, Vince, lost his precious bike. An Inspired Fourplay, blue in colour. It is a trial bike. ALL MSHS PEOPLE STAYING IN HOUGANG/SENGKANG/KOVAN AREA, take note. LOL.

It sucks to lose a bike you know? Guess what, I bought a second hand road bike (quite budget) and lost it on the same day. It was a 80s style road bike, bought for 50 bucks. I only wanted the frame 'cos it was in mint condition, wheels are crap. I lost it while buying drinks in Cheers, 1.5 years back. o.0

SJAB Zone 10 First Aid competition tomorrow, go Marist St.John! NCO-ship soon. I shall be a responsible NCO. No more skipping of activities. :)

Sunday busy Sunday

What a hectic day. My alarm was set to sound at 9 but I woke up at 9.30. Damn. I'm definitely late for the precamp briefing at the St. John headquarters. I frantically packed my stuff and Olympic sprinted (ahem) to the bus stop, just to find 0 buses down the straight road.

The whole camp was duper bored. Minimal tekan sessions. Divided into sections comprising of different cadets from different schools. I was assigned with a schoolmate of mine and 8 other cadets. Few of them whom I've got to interact with are Ong Jia Jing and Jeremy. Well the girl was kinda shy and the guy was somewhat irritating. Whatever. Glad that it's over.

Next, my phone. Always wanted to share a rookie iPhone user's experiences and some photos.



- Android lock with a HTC Cydget clock. Kinda cute to draw. I love simple lockscreens, maybe I've screwed the gruppled theme before.



- My springboard. Used buuf2 theme. Rocky era, haha. Notice that the icons can be scrolled upwards and downwards. I've downloaded this addon called Ifiniboard. I got this cracked from SinFul iPhone repository. Quite a number of usefull apps there.



- One of my favourite app, MyWi. It make use of your phone to act as a router using the data plan of your respective service provider. Quite useful for me when I bring my Mac out and wants to surf without going to Mac.



After using, it automatically clears tour cache etc. ( I think )



- Proswitcher. Served me well. Needless to explain this.



- Ibroke. A lame app here. Stimulates a crack on your phone.

2) After unlocking, it brings you to the springboard. When you try to click any of these apps, these is what will happen...



ZAAAPPP! Haha! Didn't like 'smash' selection because it looked too damn fake. Haha.

Life sucks.

There are so many things that I miss.
I miss my family in Malaysia.
I miss my worries-free life during the primary school days.
I miss you.

I got back my results. To me, I think that I've made improvements, especially English, I've got A2. But I'm still reprimanded by my father. It sucks when people tell you that you didn't put effort and you didn't study for the exams. It sucks when people say that you are not doing homework and just wasting time sitting in the study room dazing. FUCK YOU.

I'm trying ways to improve my English though, by any means. English is the most important subject. :). Without it, you'll fail. Even vulgarities, I use words like 'fuck', 'ass', 'cheesy knobs' etc. No more Ah Beng style. Talking about Ah Beng, Maris Stella has loads.

Will blog more about my results some other time, bye all.

Strangers aren't really badasses

Reaching home after watching Ironman 2 with Vince. First time meeting him though.

We met at city hall mrt. Someone turned up later in spite me leaving home late. :) Rushed into the cinema and the movie started. I love the epic fight at the final fight. The fight lasted for awhile, which was kinda diasapointing.

After the movie, we headed to NYNY restaurant for dinner. I ordered the baked rice and it was absolutely marvellous. YIKES. He also explained to me what it means by 1/4 peranakan. Lil' math calculation there. He taught me few tips and tricks regarding the iPhone and some useful apps. Stock iPhone sucks. ;P

Vince said he didn't want to reach home so early so we went to the apple retailer store and browsed. He also taught me few tricks for MacBook. Despite being an older user than him. I was totally dumbfounded.

Make things short. We went home.

Dinner at din tai fung

As stated above. Food there wasn't really good. Service was great though.

After that, I went window shopping with my cousins. He bought a $115 cap at agnia b. For a cap. Lol.

Didn't manage to stock up sweeties at cocoa tree cos nothing caught my eye except the peach flavoured gummies. It's really soft and yummy.

After that, we went to buy Rochor beancurd. The beancurd was the silkiest, sweetest, and softest I've ever tasted. I don't know how to describe but it was worth trying out, with youtiao.

Mid Year exams are finally over.

Here I am lying on the bed, after a long daybof fun, without getting into contact with a single stationery. :)

Went to watch Losers today and it was hilarious. When I wa buying tickets with Sean, I told the counter staff "hey, I would like to get 3 tix for the losers". Sounded like we are the losers. Haha!

I love Jensen because the way he is in the movie and because he is jovial. Not forgetting his ounces specs too. And he's buff. Wow.

Incredible Hulk

I'm finally on the bed after hours of A Math revision. It has been getting on my damn nerves. This late afternoon anger built in me. Everything that's coming in my way piss me off.

I knew that this couldn't carry on. It doesn't aid to my learning. Hence I prepared my pouch and went off to cycle with my fixie. On the way, I kept thinking what made me so angry, and realized that nothing did. I shouldn't be angry. But anger took over me.

After cycling, I felt so much better. I realized that cycling frees me from stress.

Want satay?

This is my first time using blogpress to post with my iPhone after I jailbroken my iPhone. Hope I can post regularly with help of current technology. Haha! Well, with Spirit Jailbreak, it is much more easier than blackrain.

I'm back from tchoukball session with my friends at Mountbatten CC. Tchoukball is an unusual game where there isn't any body contact, no tackling. This new sport is introduced in 2006, and it became famous real quickly.

I enjoyed the game very much. 20 over people forming 3 teams of 7. Unforunately, my team lost 'cos most of them are beginners. Still, we had a great game.

After rounds of matches, we headed to Old Airport road hawker centre for dinner. Hendry asked, 'Want satay?' and I bought it. Lol. The satay wasn't really good except the sauce. :P

Next :
I've built my bike. Well, this was quite a long
Time ago. I built my budget fixie to try riding one before building one decent bike. I used a cheapo alualloy frame. And china brakes. CHINA BRAKES! SO BUDGET! Haha. I find cycling very enjoyable. Hence I am saving up to buy a new frame. It's decided. :)

I feel so exhausted. Haiz. And so shack. And... Happy Mother's day to all Mommies!

It has been a long time since my last post. o.0

Woke up dang early today. 8. Took my stuff and cabbed to school. Stupid sia, need to bring full you for one muster parade one, then the whole activity wear PTkit for recreational activities. Left school at 11.30 to attend Amath, which starts at 11.30, late, obviously.

Met Yd at 1.30+, went to kopitiam for lunch. Then he bought twister fries. I kope alot sia! haha! Then make him pek chek. Sian sia, ever since the centre changed the teacher, lessons get boring. lol. After that went home.

What a Saturday, classes, school. Next week... NOTHING! WOOHOOO!

BAA BAA BLACK SHIT

Lol, I deleted all my posts. I want to try blogging in this way such that all the words are in paragraphs rather than to be br'ed. School was great so far and what an achievement! I have not skipped a single sjab activity since day one! HAHA! And today everyone got granola bars from Quackers free! School is undergoing revolution under new principal. hehe!

Books are heavy man... I spoiled 2 bags. How great, anyway, they are old. My mom promised to buy a new one for me! woo!!

Chem lesson was so funny. Say Keong was eating the granola bar infront of the teacher when he was going up to get the notes. Then Mr Shen asked him to put in into his underwear. FAIL. The class was noisy, then Mr Shen shouted, 'Shut up! Do a mental wank instead!' WTF!!

Eng tcher Mrs Yeo was pissed off, I guess? She got so angry that she shouted 'eh, bloody shit la' at pongtao during eng lesson. Too noisy man. tsktsk.

Math lesson still brainjuice-draining. lol. Mr Lim sucks!

Ehist was fun okay! Mr Tan was talking about the world map, the present and the one during WWI where Russian territory etc blah blah. Then he said that the map was different from the past, *pointing to the whole part of Russia* this point was once called.. Bai Shi shouted : It was once Pangaea! I was laughing like a mad dog while others are giving the sian look. Kenneth thought I was crazy and started pinching and whacking me cos I was disturbing him about this Pangaea joke. lol.

Learned slow march and revision hormat drills. Kinda stupid cos 4 NCOs, 2 sNCOs and 1 officer staring at my squad doing drills. So pressurised. Firstaid lesson learnt hypo/hyperglycaemia. Jia Wei and I got screwed by Jon IC cos we are wearing mufti instead of PT Kit. Go outside kid15 then come back, Mr Tan told me good job, maybe we want die want die le, continue 15 still can take it. Wonder if he is sarcastic.

Nowadays attending CCA activities with a positive attitude seems to be better, rather than hating your squadmates. Talking about this, Matthew really sucks. Sabotage whole squad. But I sabotaged the whole corp to redo besurai. =D
